Native New Yorker Niria Portella attended Fashion Institute of Technology where she majored in Merchandising Management. From there she launched into her fashion editorial career as an assistant at TWIST magazine where she worked with pop culture's hottest musicians including Britney Spears and N*Sync. 

Following TWIST, Niria went on to head the fashion departments at In Touch, Shape En Espanol, OK! Weekly and Cosmopolitan For Latinas. She has styled dozens of celebrities including Zoe Saldana, Eva Longoria, Miranda Lambert, Victoria Justice and Gina Rodriguez. In addition to producing content for the fashion pages, she's also secured exclusive interviews with A-list stars. Currently she's styling and writing on a freelance basis for major e-commerce retailers and private clients. Her styling work has been featured on TODAY, PIX11, Univision and Telemundo morning show segments.

With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Niria has strong styling experience, expertise in all aspects of fashion, entertainment and lifestyle journalism.
